Prof. ANRI KOULEV is an artist, director and producer of feature, animation and documentary films. Since 1993 he is a professor in animation direction at New Bulgarian University. He is the Director of the World Festival of Animated Film in Varna, Bulgaria. Anri Koulev was a jury member at many international film festivals such as Annecy, Hiroshima, Saint Petersburg, Varna etc. He is also the winner of prestigious national and international film awards.He is also known for his work as a set designer and director of theatre productions.His solo exhibitions of graphic art, animation sketches and paintings have been presented in Annecy, Hiroshima, Oberhausen, Bratislava, Krakow, Berlin, Moscow, Sofia, and Plovdiv. His sketches and comic strips continue being published by newspapers and magazines from 1964 to the present.
